![]() ![]() Most Cruisers the higher the tier you go also go over 30knts, but lower tiers, they are closer to 27-31knts. Most DDs go over 30knts so you need extra lead. Since not all ships go the same speed, you have to know the general speed of a given ship. So if it takes 10 seconds for your shells to travel, in order to hit a 30knt ship, you will have to aim the number 10 on the cross-hairs at the tip of the ship as done in the picture. Each number represents the amount of lead you need to give in time. That is what the numbers on your cross-hairs are. Problem is, if you are trying to hit a ship going 30knts ad you shoot right at it, your shots will be 10 seconds behind it, so you must lead. So when the number bellow the center of you are aiming says 10 seconds, that means it will take your shells 10 seconds to travel to that spot. Because we are using dynamic cross-hairs, we know that the cross-hair is scaled to 30knts. ANYWAY so as you can see in the image, I have 3 different ships going at 3 different speeds. Confused yet? I'll explain more ahead.Īgain, sorry I'm really bad with computers and haven't a clue how to make sure everything is rotated the right way etc. Most ships, especially as you go higher up in tiers, go 30knts or faster. Furthermore, dynamic is based off a 30knt scale, and static is based off of a 20knt scale. All of the static cross-hairs only work at maximum zoom. I happen to believe dynamic is the best cross-hair because it stays to scale no matter how far zoomed in or zoomed out you are. If you do not know what the Dynamic Crosshairs are, you can find them under the selection of aiming reticles in you controls options. I will first be covering the basics of leading with the Dynamic Cross-hairs and then talk about a few other factors that will contribute to your accuracy. Exciting right? Well anyway, I believe that they get the point accross. So first off, I really suck with computers, so I will be using had illustrated media. After some critical thinking, Ive discovered there are more factors to leading your target and aiming, than just leading your target and aiming. However, after watching them, I still was often missing by a lot and could not figure out why. So there is currently a lot of great videos out there on how to improve your aim. ![]()
